On July 7, 1977, the Sail Racing brand was officially registered and was re-launched 1999 with the founders’ original passion for sailing still firmly anchored in place. Today, Sail Racing International AB is a highly specialized company based in Sweden. The company is focused on designing and constructing innovative and technical gear for high speed sailing. Sail Racing is also official partner to the 35th America’s Cup and ORACLE TEAM USA, defender of the trophy.

The Reference Collection is the focus of all the knowledge acquired, working in close corporation with ORACLE TEAM USA in their campaign to defend the 35th Americas Cup. The design of the Reference products follows the characteristics and aesthetic of Sail Racing’s true DNA.
 
THE SAIL ANTARCTICA JOURNEY
 
Back in 2002, Sail Racing got the assignment to outfit an expedition crew headed for Antarctica that was led by Richard Brisius and one of the most experienced around the world sailor, Magnus ”Mange” Olsson. The group was driven by the desire to retrace one of the most significant, yet nearly forgotten, voyages to the Antarctic a 100 years earlier, the expedition of Otto Nordenskjöld. Both men and their crew were provided with clothes for sailing in the extremely cold environment and windy conditions they would face on a daily basis. The result was the collection Sail Antarctica Expedition. Today, this collection is used by, among others, the sailing legend Skip Novak and Martin Enckell on various expeditions.
 
THE PINNACLE OF SAIL RACING - 50 KTS RACE EDITION
 
We spared no effort in the product development of the 50 KTS RACE EDITION®. There was only one goal in mind: To create the best gear possible, without limitations. Right after the new 50 KTS RACE EDITION® was launched, Sail Racing was chosen as the official clothing partner to Oracle Team USA in their campaign to defend the 35th America’s Cup.
